So I really liked the first one and am glad to hear you're doing a sequel, all I would say is maybe different aesthetics for some of the levels. Like maybe a change in music or scenery for some of the stages. Either way I'm excited to see what you come up with!

Make it more like Sonic, I guess! I've grown to prefer more momentum-based 2D platformers like the Genesis Sonic games, Fancy Pants or Rayman Origins. But that's just me, I like 2D Sonic more while Mario dominates 3D platformers for me, I'm sure there are other people that would think differently.

Here's a few ideas you can consider for your next game.

It would be neat to have levels set in more varied environments like forests, fjords, and even a Christmas-themed town where jolly red Kris Kringle himself lives in. A little variety in the background art can keep the visuals from being too monotonous.

Adding some more winter-themed characters like Jack Frost, Krampus, or The Old North Wind could introduce some interesting character interactions for Pengu; Maybe as friendly NPCs or antagonistic bosses to defeat. Throwing in some yetis, reindeer, and sentient snowmen could also work for background NPCs.

Swimming mechanics may be an interesting way to spice up level design since penguins are known to be excellent at moving in water. I'm not exactly sure what the specifics should be, but you can probably figure that out by yourself.

Perhaps some mini-games like snowboarding as side-activities to be enjoyed outside the main levels.

I could come up with more concepts, but I think this is good enough to start with.

great ideas! Thank you
